ABOUT THE MISSION:

Jerome Mark Novacek, Jr. is a United States Air Force Veteran. Jerome entered active duty on Aug. 6, 1976. He served 18 years and 4 months as a precision measurement equipment lab craftsman. Jerome served 4 years, 6 months as a security forces journeyman. On Aug. 31, 1999, Jerome was honorably discharged, having attained the rank of Master Sergeant, E7. Jerome’s last duty assignment was with 30 LG (AFSPC) – Air Force Space Command, 30th Space Wing, 14th Air Force, Vandenberg AFB, California.
For his service to our country, Jerome was awarded Air Force Commendation Medal w/2 devices, Meritorious Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal w/1 device, Air Force Training Ribbon, Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon w/1 device, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award w/4 devices, NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon w/1 device, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon w/1 device, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award w/8 devices, Air Force Good Conduct Medal w/6 devices.
