Jeremy Lynn Adams Comment

  1. AFTER ACTION REPORT: Wednesday, 20 March 2019-PFC Jeremy Lynn Adams US Army WoT Veteran. Silver City, OK

It was a beautiful morning for the posting of American Flags along with 1 Army Flag in front of the Olive School Gymnasium for the arrival of Family and Friends for the services of PFC Jeremy Lynn Adams. When the Hero arrived the Patriot Guard Riders assisted in moving the Hero from the coach into the Gymnasium for his service.

A Briefing was held covering the details of todays mission. We observed a moment of silence for the Blue, Silver and Gold Star Families including the POW/MIA. We then closed with a prayer. A Flag line was formed and the doors were manned for Family and Friends arrival. At the conclusion of the service, the US Army Honor Guard came forward, the playing of Taps and the folding of the Flag by the Army Honor Guard were done. The Flag was presented to the Heroes Father. After the services a Respect Line was formed, a salute was given as the Hero was placed in the coach. We was dismissed and prepared for accompaniment.

We then accompanied Mr. Adams to his final resting place in Euchee Valley Memorial Park, Cushing OK. Flags along with 1 Army Flag were staked prior to the arrival of the Hero, Family and Friends. After arriving at the cemetery a Respect line was formed at the coach, a salute was given as the Hero was removed from the coach and transferred to his final resting place. The PGR then moved to the Flags and surrounded the Family for the remainder of the ceremony. The PGR Plaque And Invocation were read and presented to the Heroes Father, along with the Heroes Son. We then gave the Hero a Final Salute. At the request of the Family this was the end of our participation. Flags were gathered, taken to the Flag support vehicle for disassembly and stored. The PGR were then dismissed.

I would like to thank the Adams Family for Inviting the Patriot Guard Riders to help in Honoring their Hero. I would like to thank the US Army Honor Guard for all they do. A very special Thanks to the Drumright Police Depart for their assistance in our safe accompaniment to the Euchee Valley Cemetery.

I would like to thank PFC Jeremy Lynn Adams US Army WoT Veteran for his service to this Grateful Nation. “Rest in Peace Warrior” your tour is over, gone from our lives, but will never be forgotten.

    Respectfully submitted:
    Kevin(1st Bubba) Seward
