His MOS was Light Weapons Infantryman\, and he served with Troop A\, 3rd Squadron\, 5th Cavalry\, 9th Infantry Division. Mr. Holmes was Honorably Discharged on 22 July 1971 with the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E-4.)
