We have the opportunity to Honor the Military Service of U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran Jeremiah Holmes, Jr. Mr. Holmes served from 1969 – 1971, including 12 months in Vietnam (July ’70 – July ’71.) His MOS was Light Weapons Infantryman, and he served with Troop A, 3rd Squadron, 5th Cavalry, 9th Infantry Division. Mr. Holmes was Honorably Discharged on 22 July 1971 with the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E-4.) For his Service to our Nation in Vietnam, SP4 Holmes was awarded: Purple Heart; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantry Badge.
