Honor Mission
James William Shaw, Veteran
USMC, Korea
Fernley, Nevada – 11-01-19

Officer Shaw completed the Naval Aviation Cadet Program in Pensacola, Florida, and served honorably as a Marine aviator during the Korean Conflict. Upon his discharge from the Marines, veteran Shaw joined American Airlines and began a thirty plus year flying career. He was 87 and a Reno, NV, resident at the time of his passing. The interment service will take place this coming Friday, which will be November 1st, 2019, 1:00 PM at the Northern Nevada Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Fernley, NV.
