The family of James Walker has invited the Patriot Guard to stand a flag line in honor of his life and service to our country.
While serving in the United States Army Air Corps from August 1943 until March 1946, James was trained as a B-29 Gunner. James R. Walker, 90, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After the war, Bob graduated from the University of New Mexico. While attending college Bob worked summers for the National Park Service.
After college, he married his wife Betty, and worked at the Mercantile State Bank in Dallas, Texas. After several years behind a desk in the bank, the call of our nation’s beautiful National Parks summoned him back to the National park service. Bob’s last park was Voyageur’s National Park in International Falls, Minnesota.
Please come out and stand in silent tribute to Honor James’ life and service to our country.
