The family of James Thomas Pennington III, requests the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a flag line honoring their loved one at his funeral service on Saturday, 17 Oct 15, and escort him to his final resting place. Mr. Pennington was a veteran of the active duty Army and enlisted in the Air National Guard following his separation from the Army. He had earned the rank of Sergeant when he left the ANG in 1980. Please come out to show our respect for his service and honor his family’s request.

Rally Time: 0800 hrs
We will form our flag line at 0820 hrs for arrival of the family prior to the funeral service and maintain it throughout the service. After the service we will join the procession to Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge for interment. Remember to bring your 3×5 US flags for the flag lines at funeral home and graveside.
Please be fully fueled and ready to roll at the end of the service. If you cannot join the procession after the service, please come out for the flag line during the service to honor this dedicated Veteran.
Weather for Essex on Saturday is projected to be mostly sunny with a high of 58 degrees. Dress appropriately for the weather and stay hydrated. Cage or bike – it does not matter. All that matters is the Respect.
