ABOUT THE MISSION:
68 year old Jim Norman was a Dog Handler in the Army in Vietnam for two years. He was the recipient of a Purple Heart. He died on 9 February 2017 of pneumonia compounded by COPD.
He was active with the PGR and American Legion Riders where he had many friends.
He was a singer, piano player, plumber, carpenter and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and artifacting.
Jim also participated in Kairos prison ministry.

- The family of Jim Norman is requesting maximum PGR participation for this event from all New Mexico members. This will be a joint PGR/ALR mission.
The mission will consist of a flag line outside of the Corona, NM High School during arrival of guests and friends. Just prior to the start of the ceremony the flag line will moved to the inside of the auditorium.
Alamogordo, Las Cruces, and El Paso PGR members will stage at the Kent Kwik Texico Gas Station, 3500 N. White Sands Boulevard in Alamogordo at 0745 hours, briefing at 0750 hours, and KSU at 0800 hours. A minimum of 2 hours travel time to Corona is anticipated. I would like the flag line up NLT 1015 outside the Corona High School.
PGR members from other areas of the state contact your respective Assistant State Captains for staging details. All Assistant State Captains and Ride Captains attending please bring your flags to use in the flag line.
If you have large bike flags please bring them for a static display outside the auditorium.
Please provide maximum distribution of this message to all of the organizations that you belong to for maximum participation in this memorial service.
