ABOUT THE MISSION:

SSG James Robert Gallagher Jr. served his country for 18 years 8 months and 18 days as an Infantryman. About 8 years of that was overseas duty. After retiring from the army he worked for the Post Office where he retired for the second time. He was married to his wife for 19 years. He was an avid reader and collected books and movies. John Wayne and Science Fiction movies along with the Sound of Music were his favorites. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, and 4 grandchildren.
