ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family and friends of James Richard Yates request the Patriot Guard to escort their Hero to the Waynesville Missouri Veterans Cemetery and stand a silent Flag line for full military Honors. James was a Vietnam Veteran and served two tours of duty during the war. He was proud of his service and continued to honor his fellow veterans as a member of the Honor Guard from VFW Post 4107 of Lebanon. He earned the National Defense Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.

We stand with feet planted firmly on rich soil knowing what freedom is. Because of our veterans, I am free to honor God and country without persecution. Where there is injustice, I am free to fight. Where there is silence, I am free to speak. Where there is hate, I am free to love.
