Honor Mission
James Ray Simmons, Veteran
Hutchinson, Kansas – 06-29-20


James R. Simmons, served in the United States Navy and was a Machinist Mate, Fireman Apprentice (MMFA). He served on the USS Nathan Hale, SSBN-623, nuclear submarine and was one of the drivers of the vessel. He was a member of the Gold Crew. During his career MMFA Simmons was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Polaris Patrol Pin. We will stand a flag line in honor of Mr. Simmons for his visitation, service and then escort him to his final resting place at Memorial Park Cemetery.
