Patriot Guard and Associates,

Sadly, we are called to stand a Flag Line to Honor James R. Canning, First Sergeant, US Army, who served from 1942 to 1946, in the Asiatic Pacific Theater of Operations, with the 415th Replacement Company, Adjutant General’s Department as an Administrative Non Commissioned Officer in the Southern Philippines. He was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon with 1 Bronze Service Star, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 1 Bronze Service Star, the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.

We will stand a Flag Line at the Funeral Home for Calling Hour, and then at the Cemetery. We will provide a Flag Vehicle Escort from the Funeral Home to the Church and then to the Cemetery.

Assistant State Captain Jack Casey will be RCIC and Flags will be on site.
