James Okabe Rodriguez served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam for 3 years where he earned various medals including a Bronze star with one oak leaf cluster. He obtained the rank of SP5.
He was active in his local community where he coached girls fast pitch softball for 30 years. He also owned and operated a restaurant.

Special Instructions:
A rosary will be said at 1230 hours followed by a funeral mass at 1300 (1:00 pm).
Escort to Hillcrest Cemetery will begin at approximately 1400 hours (2:00 pm).
We will stage at the church at 1215 hours, flag line at 1220 and escort to the cemetery after the funeral mass.
We will provide a flag line at the grave site.
Please be prepared for a long initial flag line in the morning heat and direct sunlight.
Water and flags will be provided.
Remember to ride with the PGR all you have to be is a patriot. No previous military service is required, nor do you have to have a motorcycle. All you have to do is be able to carry a flag which we will provide. Please contact me with any questions.
