DO NOT TAKE PICTURES IN OR OF THE FLAG LINE\, THE MISSION HAS BEGUN AT THAT POINT***** IF THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS THEN PLEASE REFER TO THE STATE CAPTAIN.***** \n \n\nHonor Mission\nA2C James “Jim” Nason\, USAF\, Vietnam Veteran\nBennington\, VT and Schuylerville\, NY\n13 JUNE 2016\n\n\nAt the request of the family the Vermont Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to provide a Joint Mission to include a dignified transfer\, escort\, and a flag line in conjunction with the Patriot Guard Riders of New York for fallen HERO A2C James “Jim” Nason\, USAF\, Vietnam Veteran. \nA2C James “Jim” Nason served his country honorably during the Vietnam War from 1961 through 1967. He was a jet engine mechanic stationed at Phu Cat Air Force Base\, Vietnam. His DD-214 includes the Good Conduct Medal and was noted for a Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. Veteran Nason also has his name inscribed on one of the monuments at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington\, VT. \nVeteran Nason leaves behind his wife Donna and six children. The family asked me to include information about how he was an avid Harley Davidson motorcyclist\, that he rode for 54 years\, and his last motorcycle was a Harley Davidson Heritage Softail. They described him as a “very\, very Proud American” and said it was his wish to have the Patriot Guard Riders involved. \nThe Patriot Guard Riders will be privileged to be there to render Honor\, Dignity and Respect for the life and service of A2C James “Jim” Nason\, USAF\, Vietnam Veteran. \nThis will be a TWO PART MISSION\n\n*****Vermont Patriot Guard Riders Mission Itinerary*****\n\nSTAGING: ~ Please check emails for time\nHanson-Walbridge Funeral Home\n213 West Main Street\nBennington\, VT 05201 \nDignified Transfer out of the Funeral Home and into the hearse.\nBRIEFING: ~ Please check emails for time\nFlag Line Formation: ~ Please check emails for time\nKSU: ~ Please check emails for time \n**There will be a lead vehicle provided by Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home. The Patriot Guard Riders will fall in behind the lead vehicle.\nThe Hearse will fall in behind the Patriot Guard Riders. An “Empty Rider” trailer will fall in behind the Patriot Guard Riders. The Empty Rider Trailer will contain an empty motorcycle\, a helmet\, the leather jacket of A2C James “Jim” Nason\, USAF\, Vietnam Veteran\, and a POW/MIA Flag. The family will fall in behind the Empty Rider Trailer. \nIt is 55 minutes (37.2 miles) to Gerald B. H.
