ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of SP4 James Lee McCray, United States Army, to escort and stand in his honor at Barrancas National Cemetery. SP4 McCray was 60 years old at the time of his passing. SP4 McCray served in the United States Army for 3 years. During his service he earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Overseas Service Medal

Special Instructions:
CAUTION: The Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles, and appropriate eye protection. This attire will always be maintained while riding aboard the base.
11:30 am – Briefing for all riders
11:45 am – KSU to Funeral Home
12:00 pm – Arrive at Funeral Home
12:30 pm – Roll time to Barrancas – Escort TBD
1:00 pm – Interment at Barrancas National Cemetery – Site A

May family and friends find strength in acknowledgement that James McCray, having served this nation honorably, was willing to sacrifice all that another might taste or maintain liberty and stood courageously where few dared tread and for such dedication to nation, duty, and service rendered, is so remembered and honored among patriots.
