ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of LTJG McGowan United States Navy has requested the Patriot Guard Riders presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest. LTJG McGowan served our great nation during the Korean war conflict and upon completion of service received an honorable discharge, His known awards and medals our National Defense Service Medal. Please bring your 3 X 5 American flags and stand in honor and respect for our veteran hero and his family,

    It is my honor and privilege to stand with families of and for those who dared stand where many feared to tread. Your loss is immeasurable but it will mark again the strength and fortitude of the families and friends who raised and supported our heroes, our disciplined, our courageous, among whom you are included and so often overlooked, even abandoned.
