James “Jimmy” Louis Hooper, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:
Jimmy Hooper was born on March 12, 1943 and passed away on May 26 2020 in Ellerslie, GA. He served honorably in the US Army for four years. After his service, he was deeply involved in music and authored and sung “The Soldier’s Prayer” which is a very meaningful song honoring all military and their sacrifices. He was a beloved husband, father, brother and uncle.

After a short briefing, we will provide a 1 mile Rolling Honor Guard from the funeral home to Parkhill Cemetery for a graveside funeral service. All CDC and state COVID 19 guidelines will be followed to include social distancing and cloth face masks. Jimmy stood for us, now its time for us to stand for him and his family.
