James “Jim” M. English, Retired
MULTI-CITY, South Carolina – 06-26, 27-20


Command Senior Chief (CSC – SS) English was born on July 26th 1930. He served in the United States Navy as a Submariner for 26 years. He served aboard the nuclear submarines; Ballistic missile submarine USS James Madison (SSBN-627), USS Sam Rayburn (SSBN 635) and USS Scorpion (SSN-589), which was a Skipjack class nuclear submarine which was lost in 1968. CSC English served over 26 years in the US Navy Submarine Service. He was awarded the National Defense Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and a Unit Commendation Ribbon. This is a two-part mission on two separate days, consisting of an escort first and then a flag line for visitation on the second day. Please read special information for further details.

This is an Escort Mission to Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
We will be following all Covid-19 precautions, masks and a 6-foot distancing (Rendering Honors).
We will have LEO escort most of the way to the cemetery.
Currently, COVID-19 restrictions will not allow our entry into FJNC so we will escort to the gate.
Flags & Water:
Flags will not be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
