ABOUT THE MISSION:
Ladies and gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, the family of U.S. Army Veteran James (Hippy Jim) Barnes has asked that we stand in honor of his life and service to our country at his memorial service and during much deserved full military honors.
Jim enlisted in the U.S. Army on 28 APR 1969 and was trained as a 67N20 (UH-1 Helicopter Repairman). Jim served honorably until his discharge on 24 APR 1973. While serving our country Jim earned the National Defense Service Medal.
The Chehalis American Legion will provide the rifle volley and a niece will sound “Taps”. The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to fold and present the burial flag.
Please join with us as we honor this American hero as well as providing support his family and friends.
