James Hall Baker was a graduate of Ft. Lauderdale High School. He attended Florida State University and the University of Mississippi where he earned his Bachelors of Science Degree. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard where he retired as a Brigadier General after 38 years. During his time\, he held positions as the Assistant Adjutant General for Air\, Base Commander Jefferson Barracks\, Military Commander of the 157th Tactical Control Group\, Air Technician Commander\, and Executive Support Staff Officer. He held assignments in Thailand\, Republic of Vietnam\, Korea\, Dominican Republic\, and multiple stateside assignments.
