Honor Mission
James F. Montgomery , Veteran
Canton, Georgia – 06-01-21


The Patriot Guard Riders have the honor of standing for U.S. Army Veteran James Franklin Montgomery as he once stood for us. Mr. Montgomery served two years in the U.S. Army as an Entertainment Specialist.  Even though he entered the Army in 1946 and served until 1947, he was awarded the WWII Victory Medal. Not much is known about Mr. Montgomery as he died in 2012 at the age of 85 and was cremated. He will be interred with his wife, 99yo Laura Florence Montgomery who passed away recently. There will be full Military Honors at GNC.

Stage in the parking lot for a quick briefing. We will then set up for a Law Enforcement led Rolling Honor Guard to GNC.  KSU scheduled for 9:30 am.

Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

Special Instructions:

Stage at the PIC Building and await the arrival of the escort. Cages park closely on both sides of the drive. Leave the area on left up front for bike parking. We will move to the assigned shelter when appropriate. Service is scheduled for 10:30 am.
Coronavirus Precaution Disclosure: Please bring a mask and wash hands often, be prepared to follow the guidelines from state and local officials as well as facility or cemetery guidelines to be outlined at the mission briefing
