James Edward “Ed” Fondren Sr. United States Army Fairhope Al.  Mr. Fondren passed away July 24, 2021 at the age of 76. Mr. Thompson served in the U.S. Army for 2 years 7 months and 16 days, was a Vietnam combat veteran and received Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device 1960, Vietnam Service Medal, Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Marksman (rifle) and an Honorable Discharge. PGR will stand tall and in a silent flag line of respect and honor during the services of their loved one
