ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Major James E.Kent has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard to honor this hero, it will be our honor to do so. Major Kent joined the Air Force in 1950 and retired in 1971. He served in the 452nd Bomb Wing/17th Bomb Group during the Korean war. His assignments include Pusan (K9), Moody AFB (3 times), Lackland AFB, TX., Keesler AFB, Ms. Wheelus AFB, Libya, and Washington, D.C.

Briefing at 12:45, we will stand a flag line during the viewing from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM. We will stand down until the end of the service and prepare for a short escort to the cemetery at 3945 North Valdosta RD. Valdosta, Ga. 31602.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
