ABOUT THE MISSION:
EO2 James D. Peeler , U.S.Navy ( SeaBee) proudly served from 27 Dec. 1965 to 15 Nov. 1968 . Having served 2 years 10.mo. 19 days of that time doing 2 tours of duty in Vietnam as a equipment operator. He was released from active duty and transferred to the Navel Reserves following his second deployment in Vietnam. His Awards include; National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal W Fleet Marine Combat Insignia and Three Bronze Stars, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon. Following his active duty service he became a Pharmacist for the VA Hospital in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He is survived by one son, two sisters, three nieces, and other family and friends.
