Marietta, Georgia – 06-21-19
Marietta, Georgia – 06-21-19
ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Korean War Veteran James Wright has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand for and escort their Hero at his final services and I have told them it will be our honor to do so. Mr. Wright enlisted in the USMC at an early age. After discharge he spent a few years with his family then enlisted in the USN at the outbreak of the Korean War. He served as a landing craft coxswain, delivering troops to the shore in Korea.
After the war he met and spent several years in California with his new bride and finally settled in Georgia where he eventually ran his landscaping company. This will be a church flag line with escort to the local cemetery for military honors. Final rest will be at the Georgia National Cemetery next week.
