Upon arrival at the funeral home, we will place our static flags around the front and sides of the funeral home, as well as along the curb along the street in front of the building. We will then stand an honor line for the arrival of the family and friends of our hero. Once the service starts, we will have a short debrief and be dismissed to prepare for part two of the mission. There will be approximately one and a half hours from the completion of part one to the start of part two.

We will stage in the rear parking lot of the funeral home and prepare to accompany our hero to his final resting place at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma. This will be a 70-mile trip from the funeral home to the cemetery. All but approximately one mile will be either four lane freeway or open highway. Once we arrive at the cemetery, we will prepare for part three, the interment service.

We will be staging at the Visitor’s Center, where we will lead the procession from there to the designated shelter. Upon arrival at the shelter, we will stand an honor line for the duration of the interment service. Military honors will be performed by the Fort Sill Honor Guard.
