ABOUT THE MISSION:

Mr. James Rieson, age 97 of Dodson, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 surrounded by his family.  He retired from Rock Island Railroad and was a long time member of Dodson Assembly of God.  He was a devoted family man and a veteran of the United States Army.  He proudly served his country during World War II receiving numerous medals including the American Theater Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze stars, Phillippine Liberation Ribbon with two bronze stars, Good Conduct Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.  Mr. Rieson was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Evans) Rieson.

Ecclesiastes 3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die;. Lord we pray for strength for the family as they go through the days ahead. Bind them together in love and comfort them only as you can.
My wife and I wish to offer our deep heartfelt condolences.
They did their part. Now we will do our very best to honor you.

We have lost another Great American Hero,

Angie and I offer our deepest, and most heartfelt condolences to the Family and Friends of this true American Hero. It’s with great sorrow we say goodbye to all our great Heroes. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of those who stood and fought for our country. Be proud and strong in their beliefs.
