ABOUT THE MISSION:

Cpl. Blocker proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. in Hq Co. 5th Marine, 1st Marine Div. (Rein) FMF. His Medals and Ribbons include National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/Device, Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Service Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge and Combat Action Ribbon.Following his military service, he was employed with Hattiesburg Fire Department, retiring after 37 years as a District Captain.
