James “Jim” Arkell, 61
U.S. Army Veteran
Homosassa / Bushnell, FL.
Monday, May 23, 2016

The family of PFC James “Jim” Arkell has graciously requested the Patriot Guard Rider’s presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest. PFC Arkell served his Country by joining the U.S. Army in June 1972 and performed duties as a Field Artillery Crewmember while stationed in Hawaii.

Upon completion of his service, PFC Arkell received an Honorable Discharge and awarded the National Defense Service Medal and a Sharpshooter Badge (Rifle). No additional military related information is available at this time.

PFC Arkell’s post military occupation was a long distance truck driver and he worked for commercial carriers of the years in Indiana, Washington, Tennessee & Florida. PFC Arkell had the wonderful opportunity to visit 49 of the 50 states, with Alaska being the one State he didn’t visit. He rode and love his Harley and the family stated “he would love it knowing riders are attending his service”.

Please bring your 3 X 5 American Flags and join us as we stand in silent Honor and Respect for our U.S. Army Veteran and his family.

Note: This is a two-part mission.
