James Alvin Allmon

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to escort and stand in honor of Master Chief Petty Officer James Allmon  He was born on the 4th of July, 1941 and passed 15 May 2020.  MCPO Allmon honorably served our country for over 30 years, was a Vietnam Veteran and served 4 years on foreign soil and 4 years sea duty. He was honorably retired on 30 June 1989.  MCPO Allmon received numerous awards including: Good Conduct Award (7), Meritorious Unit Commendation w/1 star, Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon W/3 Stars, Meritorious Unit Citation, Vietnam Meritorious Citation (Civil), Meritorious Unit Citation Gallantry Cross W/Palm, 45 Cal Pistol Sharpshooter, Navy “E” Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation W/2 Stars, Air Medal W/Strike/FLT NO. 1,  National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal W/6 Campaigns, Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 Campaigns Device.

Special Instructions:

NAS Pensacola requires that long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT Approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection be worn while riding on NAS Pensacola.
Face masks are mandatory and will be in place from arrival at staging until completion of the mission. You may remove your mask while riding but must be replaced upon dismounting your vehicle. Hand sanitizing is recommended. Maintain a 20 ft distance from the family and 6 ft between riders. At the conclusion of mission flags to be returned to the flag carrier, sanitized, and stowed.

Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
