The family of Sgt James A. “Laydown” Chesson has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand for their loved one. Mr. Chesson lost his life at the age of 71. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. His awards and Commendations include NDSM\, Purple Heart\, Combat Infantryman Badge\, VSM w/ 2 Bronze Service Stars\, Army Commendation Medal\, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device\, and an Honorable Discharge. Other awards and commendations are unknown at this time. The Patriot Guard Riders\, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association\, and American Legion Riders will be honored to escort this true Patriot to his final resting place and stand a silent flag line at his Interment.\nMr. Chesson stood many a hard day and night so that we might be safe and free. Now it is our turn to stand and honor him for his service and sacrifice.
