ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Patrolman Jacob Hancher has requested SC Patriot Guard to stand for their Hero, Patrolman Jacob Hancher who was was killed in the line of duty on the evening of Saturday October 3rd, 2020. Officer Hancher had been with the Myrtle Beach Police Department for 4 years as a Community Service Officer and 1 year as a Patrolman at the time he was killed.

We will stand the flag line 3 PM to 7 pm While the family and the Police Department receive guests.

Special Instructions for PGR missions during the COVID-19 virus, we will abide by all rules and regulations set by the CDC and the State of South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
Each attendee is responsible to bring a personnel face-covering. It does not have to be an actual mask, any sort of covering will be sufficient, as we will be setting an example that “We are observing all CDC recommendations regarding COVID-19”. In keeping with the requirements of the State of South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs, PGR members will maintain at least six-foot distance between each other during the briefing and flag line. We are also instructed to be no closer than forty feet from the family.

Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.

Briefing 12:45 PM  We will stand the flag line 1 PM to 2 PM on Oak Street and while the procession comes North on Oak Street from Mr. Joe White Blvd. We will stand down during the Funeral and once again stand a flag line at the end of the funeral, scheduled to be 4 PM.
