DESCRIPTION:The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand for Jacob ‘Bud’ Farnik\, Jr.\, USA WWII Veteran for his Funeral Service scheduled for Tuesday\, 28 June at 10:30 AM at the Sanctuary Church 14587 US Hwy 34 (West of Ft. Morgan). Military Honors to follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. \nMr. Farnik served in the US Army from 1944-46 assigned to the 63rd Inf. Reg in the Philippines and Asiatic Pacific. Following the War he served Occupation Duty in Korea until his Honorable Discharge in 1946 earning the rank of SSgt. He was born in March of 1925 and passed on June 20. Mr. Farnik was a lifelong resident of the New Raymer and Brush communities.
