ABOUT THE MISSION:

Jackie Lewy was born April 4, 1933 in Springfield, MO, and died May 25, 2019 in Sarasota, FL. He faithfully served our country by enlisting in the United States Navy in 1951 and rose to the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class, Photographic Intelligenceman. He served in the Korean conflict and in Japan aboard the USS General Anderson and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Navy Campaign Service Medal. He was honorably discharged in 1955. Jack, as he was known by, loved his country and was proud to be an American soldier. He would often reminisce about his military service and he loved to talk about antique cars and politics.
NOTE: THE FAMILY HAS REQUESTED THE PGR TO PROVIDE 6 PALL BEARERS.
