SP4 Jack Wayne Milton, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Specialist Four Jack Wayne Milton, USA, Vietnam Veteran, passed away October 20, 2019 at the age of 75. The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to stand with respect at his funeral at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Jack is survived by his mother, sister, brother, niece and nephews, and cousins, as well as many friends living in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. While stationed at Fort Kobe, he served as Fire Team Leader and Machine-gun Squad Leader, earning a Certificate of Achievement award for leading his men and establishing a brigade and battalion as exemplary. In Vietnam, he earned the Parachutist Badge while in the Rangers. Awards and medals include: Expert Badge M-16, Marksman Hand Grenade, Expert Infantry and Army Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with 1 Palm, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Overseas Service Ribbon. While serving as a Specialist Four, he received a citation from the Department of the Army the Army Commendation Medal for his distinguished service in support of military operations against Communist aggression in the Republic of Vietnam.

Briefing: 9:30 A.M.
Flag Line: 10:00 A.M. at committal shelter.
The Arkansas Honor Riders will be escorting from Hot Springs and will act as pall bearers.
PGR may be needed to supplement pall bearers—possibly 2-3 men.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.

Gone to the Father but not forgotten by those he loved and loved by brothers and sisters he never knew you live in the hearts not only brothers and sisters who served in The Nam but by all that have served since.. Rest in Peace my brother a job well done and sacrifice remembered. A true American Hero.. To family and friends his sacrifice service will be honored by all who served, are serving and will serve. There are no words I have that can fill the wound of your heart and can only offer condolences and prayer for healing. I offer the slow military hand salute as a show of respect to, his family with my gratitude and love with prayer to The Father.
