The family of Jack T. Howes requests the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at services in his honor on October 24, 2014 in Ellicott City, Maryland.
When Jack joined the Army he was assigned as a cook at Ft George G. Meade, proudly serving those who served. Until he recently moved to the Alexander “Sandy” Nininger State Veterans Nursing Home in Pembroke Pines, Florida he still enjoyed preparing pot luck dishes for his church family at New Horizon UMC. Jack also crocheted dozens of afghan blankets which he donated to individuals and local nursing homes.
