We have been requested to stand for another Veteran of World War II. Jack M. Keiffer of Hamburg passed away on August 1st.

Mission Narrative:
Mr. Keiffer served in the US Army from 1943 – 1946. His MOS was Construction Equipment Mechanic, and he was attached to the 253rd
Engineer Construction Battalion. His service included 18 months overseas, including the Central Europe Campaign and Rhineland
Campaign. Mr. Keiffer was Honorably Discharged on 2 May 1946 with the rank of Sgt. (T.). For his service to our nation, Sgt. Keiffer was
awarded: Army Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and the WW-II Victory Medal.
