DESCRIPTION:Jack joined the U.S.Army in 1955 at the age of 16. He got caught being under age after a few short months and was discharged. Shortly after that Jack joined the U.S. Navy were he served as an air crewman aboard the USS Saratoga and the USS Hornet\, and later as an Aviation Structural Mechanic. After serving in the Navy from 1956-1961\, Jack was discharged as a Petty Officer Third Class. \nJack was a resident of Congress\, AZ at the time of his passing.
