Ivan W. Mallett, 93, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Ivan W. Mallett has graciously requested the Patriot Guard Riders presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest.

PFC Mallett faithfully served his country in the U. S. Army and performed duties as a Utility Repairman.

Upon completion of his service, PFC Mallett received an Honorable Discharge and during his time in service, was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, European-African Middle East Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the WW II Victory Medal.

In his life after the military, he did numerous jobs including construction, running a hardware store , then became a welder, followed up by being a weigh master for a coal company.

Ivan was a member of the Lions Club and also a Lifetime member of the VFW.

Ivan is survived by wife of 68 years, 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Please bring your 3 X 5 American Flags and stand in Honor and Respect for our Hero and his family.

Large Flag Bike’s will be needed for Part 2 of this mission as this will be an Escort from Altamonte Springs to CCNC.
