Hyland Char
U S Army
Fancy Gap Va./Mt. Airy, NC
5/14/2016

Patriots, we have been asked by the family of Hyland Char to stand for him as he stood for us. Hyland served in the Army Security agencies special operations command, and then served 37 years in law enforcement in Hawaii. He rode motorcycles since 1960 and recently moved to a Trike. On Saturday May 14, 2016 we will stand for Hyland and take him on his final ride From the Granite quarry overlook on the blue Ridge Parkway to Red brush rd. in Mt Airy, NC LEO will be escorting us down the back roads so we can fly our flags if they are road worthy. This will be an escort and flag line at the church. The family has invited us to stay for visitation and food after the service, and to take part in the service.

We will stage at the Cockerham station and food mart on 52 north just north of the parkway. https://goo.gl/maps/n8NS4fNJmrC2
