ABOUT THE MISSION:
Howard James Tuggey enlisted as a Sousaphone player in the Army band. He moved up over 29 years of service to retire as a full Colonel and earned both rotor and fixed wings.

Riders will stage at the church and prepare the flag line. After the mission brief has been given, we will establish the flag line and stand in honor as the family and guests arrive. Once the service begins, we will retrieve the flags and return them to the support vehicle where they will be furled and stowed. We will then proceed on to DFWNC for the inurnment portion of the mission.

We will stage at the Visitor’s Center where the mission brief will be given. Flag bikes will be chosen and relocated to the designated staging lane. The remaining riders will proceed on to the assigned shelter to set the flags and await the arrival of the procession, bringing COL Tuggey, his family and friends. At the conclusion of the committal service, and at the direction of the ride captain, the flags will be retrieved and returned to the shelter storage, where they will be furled and stowed. After the post mission brief, all riders will be dismissed.
