Houston Howell Jr. , Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Patriots, we have lost another from one of the greatest generation. We have been requested by Brown’s Mortuary in Kannapolis to escort and be family for Mr. Houston Howell Jr. (93) who had passed away at the VA Hospital in Salisbury.  When the United States called upon its citizens to serve in World War II, Houston Howell Jr. answered the call. Faithfully serving in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1945 in battles of the Pacific earning the Purple Heart and other awards.
As of this time the funeral home has not been able to contact any of Mr. Howell family members, so we, the Patriot Guard, will be his family at his service. We will show Honor and Respect as we do for all our veterans…Mr. Howell will not be alone on his final journey.

Special Instructions:

There will be a Public Invited Visitation for one hour at the Mortuary.At 12:00 noon we shall mount up and escort Mr. Howell to SNC for a 1:00 pm internment where Military Honors will be presented.

Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

  1. Thank you for being his family at this time when he didnt have any one present for the services. We saw the funeral procession going up highway 29 earrlier today. IT was a fitting service for a war veteran. My dad served in pacific theater campaign at the same time as Mr. Howell. He had purple heart also. Thank the LORD for the person who took on himself to do this for this man. God Bless All!!
