SUMMARY:HOTH - Operation Purple Camp / Tucson
DESCRIPTION:22 JUNE 2016\nOPERATION PURPLE CAMP\nORACLE\, ARIZONA  85623 \n\n\nThe  National Military Family Association’s Operation Purple Camp is open to  children with a parent or guardian from any service branch.  This is a  free summer camp for these children.  Priority is given to children who  have a parent(s) or guardian who incurred service connected injuries or  illnesses on or after 9/11 or their parent(s) or guardian are deployed.\n\nThis  will be our 5th year of riding out to see these kids and seriously  having a great time!  They love to gather in the circle and hold hands  as we all sing our PGR song and say the Pledge.  In the past we have  danced with them\, talked to them about the Patriot Guard Riders and let  them know we care about them.  The kids a couple of years ago had a  special visitor come in by helicopter from the Military but they heard  us rolling up the road to them and ran over to us….we were told later  that we stole the thunder! LOL \nWe  have been asked again by the AZANG 162nd Wing to be there to spend the  morning with these kids and it is going to be an honor to let them know  the Patriot Guard Riders care.\n\nPLEASE  HYDRATE THE DAY BEFORE AS WELL AS THE DAY OF\, WE WILL BE RIDING AN HOUR  TO GET TO OUR DESTINATION AND THE TEMPERATURE WILL BE HOT \nDATE:  22 June 2016 \nSTAGING:\nChevron Station (just north of Magee and Oracle on the east side of the street)\n8080 North Oracle Road\nTucson\, AZ  85704\n\nWe  will be riding approximately an hour to our destination of Triangle Y  Ranch near Oracle\, AZ.
