DESCRIPTION:Representatives of the organization Operation Finally Home have requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the presentation of a mortgage free home sight and home to Jeremy Brooking and his family. LCPL Brooking served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was wounded ten years ago. Although his recovery has been a long process\, he\, his wife and their two young daughters are ready to move on and Operation Finally Home\, along with their partners\, are going to help them with this goal. The escort is expected to commence at 0930 (9:30 AM). The escort will be short and the destination will be discussed at the briefing. \nSpecial Note: If you are an RCIT and would like to participate and assist in this mission\, you are welcome. Please contact the RCIC upon arrival. \n\nFlags & Water:\nFlags Will Be Provided\nIf you have large bike flags\, please bring them.\nWater will be provided. \nMISSION REPORT – \nWe met LCPL. Brooking\, his family and representatives of the Finally Home Organization at the hotel in Summerville\, SC.\, where introductions were made and we had time for conversation with Jeremy and his family.\n**** After the briefing\, we established the order of procession for the escort to the event location. It was a short*ride to the home sight\, with good weather and light traffic.*\n**** Upon arrival at the neighborhood entrance\, we were greeted by two hundred fifty large United States* of* America flags on poles lining*both sides of the roadway all the way to the sight.\n**** Future*neighbors of the Brooking family\, the Finally*Home people and their contractors and supporters were all present as well as representatives from our local Military Bases.\n**** We established a flag line around the tent covering the podium and*guest seating area with twelve riders.* The Patriot Guard Riders were asked to do the Presentation of Colors for the Pledge of*Allegiance and singing of our National Anthem.* PGR Rider Steven Atkins\, himself a Marine\, volunteered to do the presentation and did a fine job. **\n**** After all the speakers were done\, Jeremy and his wife spoke to the gathering expressing their appreciation for this gift.* A ceremonial ground breaking was done with great fanfare and much applause.\n**** The Brooking family was very appreciative of the presence of PGR as were many of the people present who came up to say thank you.\n**** Upon completion of the ceremony we broke down the flag line and departed the area.\n**** There were no incidents during this mission.\n**** Thanks to Ben for flags and water.\n**** Special thanks to Steven for stepping up and representing us.\n**** My appreciation*to all who came out for this happy occasion and showing our respect and appreciation to this wounded hero. ******
