Dedication of Memorial to Honor Military and First Responders

The community of Riviera Beach, Anne Arundel County, MD has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand our flag line and participate in the dedication of their memorial to honor those members of the community who have served as Military or First Responders. This dedication of the Memorial has been in process several years and finally has been completed. Many members of the community who have served and the survivors of those who have served over the years and were lost will be in attendance. There will also be Color Guards from local fire, police and military units. The ceremony is scheduled to last approximately 1 hour with local speakers participating.

Please come out and show the community of Riviera Beach the respect the Patriot Guard Riders share for their members who volunteered to give their all if required for the safety and protection of their community.
Staging: Saturday, 20 September @ 0945hrs
Riviera Beach Shopping Center
8487 Ft Smallwood Road ( Rt 173 @ intersection of Riviera Rd)
Riviera Beach, MD 21122
Center is located approx. 4.8 miles south if intersection of RT. 173 with Quarantine Rd. (Exit 1 South from I-695).

We will proceed to the Community Park at 1015hrs where we will assemble our flag line to form a cordon to welcome the participants in the ceremony and to re-assemble for the formal dedication ceremony. Parking at the park will be on grass. Be sure to bring a puck or something to place under your kickstand. A crushed can makes an adequate support.

Weather is forecasted to be partly cloudy with temps. 65-72 degs. and a 20% chance of precipitation. Be sure to bring your hand held 3×5 flags for the flag line and your kickstand support. Large mounted flags are acceptable as it is a short ride on residential roads from the staging area to the park. Cages are welcome and parking will also be on grass.
