The family of Staff Sergeant Gavin Reinke, United States Army, has invited the Patriot Guard to stand flag honors at a Memorial and celebration of life on the tenth anniversary of his sacrifice. (Flags will be provided)
This Wednesday marks the 10th anniversary of the day that Staff Sergeant Gavin Reinke, United States Army was K.I.A. in Iraq. At 1800 or 6:00 PM, Wednesday, in his HONOR and MEMORY, his wife (Carole) & daughter (“Buggy”) will be releasing balloons at Ebenezer Park in Rock Hill. (Balloons will be provided)

The ride to Ebenezer Park is about four miles. Please fly big flags as travel will be at or less than 35 mph.

Sgt. Reinke was assigned to the 5th Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. It was his second tour of duty in Iraq. He was K.I.A. on May 4th 2006 when a roadside bomb detonated near his military vehicle.
It is an honor to serve as Ride Captain for this mission.
