The Patriot Guard has been invited by the Pike County American Legion Post# 197 to stand a flag line for Vietnam Veterans Ceremony at the Pike County School Auditorium on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 3 pm.
I’ve accepted this mission on behalf of all our Veterans.
We will stand a flag line as guest and dignitaries arrive. After we stand the flag line we’ve been invited to come in to the ceremony to be recognized, being that alot of our members are Vietnam Veterans.
This ceremony is to show thanks and appreciations that many of our Veterans didn’t get many years ago. Appreciation for those who served in a conflict that lasted nearly two decades and upon returning home were largely unrecognized.
Its time we tell them ” Welcome Home.”
Its our time to say “Thank-You” for the sacrifices’ made in a war that lasted from November 1954 until April 1975.
Vietnam Veterans that come and participate in this mission, PLEASE I need to get your name and addresses before standing flag line for a special surprise mailed at a later date from post #197.
Thank you All who have served and hope to see you in person to be recognized .
