The Patriot Guard has been invited to Stand and Honor those that have paid the Ultimate Sacrifice in service to our great country.

Captain Schager and Captain Meadows along with Oceana’s Navy Gold Star Coordinator have cordially invited the Patriot Guard to Stand for NAS Oceana’s Roll Call of Remembrance Memorial Day Ceremony at NAS Oceana’s Chapel of the Good Shepherd on Wednesday, 25 May at 9:00 am.

There will be Gold Star family members attending this event. This service is an extension of our desire to continually pay tribute to our Fallen Heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom. This service will Recognize, Remember, and Honor the families and friends of our Fallen Heroes.

Please come out and join us as we honor our Fallen Heroes and their families.

MISSION DETAILS – We establish a Flag Line and Stand Tall with Honor as the Gold Star Families and Guests arrive at the Chapel. We will reestablish and maintain a Flag Line during the Service as the names of the fallen are read.

All wishing to join in this Mission:
Stage – NAS Oceana Navy Exchange Parking Lot, 1750 Tomcat Dr., Va. Beach, Va.
Arrive NLT: 0730
Brief: 0745
KSU: 0800 for a short transit onto the base.

No persons or groups may join the transit onto the base without attending the Mission Brief prior to KSU.
(Because we will be going on a military installation, the following clothing will be required: Helmet; glasses or goggles, windshield or full face helmet (no windshield), full fingered gloves / full length sleeved shirt or jacket / ankle high boots (no sneakers of sandals) and have some sort of picture ID ready for viewing. No weapons allowed onboard the military installation.

Please monitor the weather and dress accordingly.
