The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to assist with flags and stand our flag line in the honor ceremony for the dedication of the Harrison Veterans Memorial. This is a very beautiful memorial very well thought out and very honorable. We will stage at American Legion Post 3404 on M-61 west of Harrison about 1 mile. There will be coffee and pop and restrooms available.
We need at least 50 Patriots with Motorcycles to ride in to town and make some noise and then form a flag line for the dedication ceremony. Major General Gregory J. Vadnais will land in a Bird on site. There will be a flyover @ 1 pm sharp. The ceremony will last for about 1 hour.
Here’s the plan:
Staging
Date Wednesday, 25 May 2016
Time 9:00 a.m.
Location
American Legion Post #404
1267 W. M-61
Harrison, MI 48625
10:00 a.m. the flag detail/vehicles will drive to the memorial site and set up flags on the perimeter
10:25 a.m. The motorcycles will ride into town and park and create a flag line
It is important that we have KSU very prompt because Major General Vadnais will be landing in a Bird and there will be a fly over. We must be in our place before all of that happens.
Please bring your 3 X 5 American Flag (you and your flag speak 1000 words)
