DESCRIPTION:The organizers of the Pelion Ruritan Veterans Memorial Dedication  have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the dedication of the 2nd  phase of the memorial in their town that honors their fallen heroes. \nMemorial  Day weekend is the single busiest time for members of the PGR each year  due to the reason of the holiday; to honor & remember those who  have died in service to the United States of America. After all… this is  who we are and what we do… Patriots who know how to honor our Fallen  Veterans. If fact\, many PGR stood last Memorial Day weekend at his very  memorial as it was dedicated initially. \nOver the last year\, they have  identified more names and will conduct a Phase 2 dedication on  Monday\, 30 May 16 at 1000 (10:00 am). \nWe are honored to have been  invited to participate.     Members of community\, Veterans\, JROTC\, Pelion Band\, guest speakers and  Ruritan Club members will also participate in the ceremony. \n\nMISSION DETAILS:  Monday\, 30 May 2016\n\nStaging Location: IGA Supermarket\, 861 Pine Street (US 302)\, Pelion\, SC 29123\n\nMAP: https://goo.gl/maps/ACQyjdxidsk\n\nStaging: 0900 (9:00 am)\n\nBriefing: 0915 (9:15 am) \nKSU: 0930 (9:30 am)\n\nExecution:   We will stand a flag line during the dedication. Dedication music  begins at 9:45 with the Dedication Ceremony to start at 10:00. It is  expected to last 45 min – 1 hour. The memorial is beside Pelion’s old  town hall on 1010 Main Street (Hwy 178). For those that know Pelion\, the  red caboose is beside the old town hall.\n\nAnyone  that wants to ride out as a group\, we will be leaving from the Waffle  House at 2208 Airport Blvd\, West Columbia\, SC at 8:00 am (0800).
